Making connections is easy for you, which ensures you to quickly realize what a possible solution is when issues come your way. You don't mind a bit of administration and documentation and you can perform well under pressure.

Helping customers with processes, devise a solution together by asking the right questions, that is what gives you fulfilment. You are customer-oriented and your communication skills are to the point in Dutch and English, both in writing and in speech. You validate solutions with multiple stakeholders and it is important that you can handle different levels within an organization. In addition to working independently, you are also a real team player and regularly seek cooperation with the product owner, solution architects and other colleagues from your product team.

In the Business Analyst role

Our software solutions: Multi Tax Solution (MTS), Multi Data Exchange Solution (MDES), Multi Benefit Solution (MBS), Multi Permit Solution (MPS), are built to support government organizations in various developing countries and islands, including Curaçao, Bonaire, Suriname, Peru, Ghana and Greenland. Thanks to the digitization of government processes, together we make a positive impact on these communities.

Your role as a business analyst is crucial for the development of our solutions. You are the link between the customer and the team. You retrieve information, analyze it and ensure that the validated requirements reach the right colleagues in the team.

You start your day with a Stand Up Meeting together with the team. Here you discuss what you worked on the day before, what is planned today and if you need any help from your colleagues. After this you sit down with the product owner to look into the Product Backlog, you choose a number of tickets to further develop. An example of this could be: filing tax return online. You get to work by analyzing this process at the customer, talking to them and asking the right questions. You collect all the information from the customer to clarify the “as is” and the “to be” situations. You process this information accurately and clearly in the documentation.

Twice a week you meet with the team of developers, testers and architects to discuss the requirements. This makes it clear to the team what is expected of our solution to meet customer needs. You also work closely with one of the UX collegues who will design screenshots with your input.

What do we need from you?

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • You have a minimum HBO working and thinking level;
  • A certificate for Business Analyst is an advantage;
  • You have knowledge of User stories and BPMN 2.0 or comparable process modeling notation;
  • You are a team player and can switch well between customer and the team;
  • You speak perfect English and Dutch, Papiamentu would be a nice extra!
