Our story
For more than 35 years BearingPoint Caribbean has partnered with governments, focusing on three fundamental areas: tax, social security, and permits & licensing. Today we have grown to an international organization with more than 100 people. Next to serving clients in our home base of the Caribbean, we have ventured out to new geographic territories, like West Africa and the Pacific. We experienced that, while the psychical distance was great, our countries have a lot more in common than you think. Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and developing countries tend to share similar sustainable development challenges, including small but growing populations, limited resources, and remoteness. The governments often face budget deficits, which decrease the ability to invest in the main pillars of society such as education and healthcare –the essential expenditures that the public needs most.
Our software solutions are specifically designed to manage government processes. The Public Services Suite is an integrated suite of modules that creates more transparent, integrated, and efficient processes. These building blocks work together to enhance compliance, so governments can obtain a balanced budget and adequate funding to invest in the priorities of their communities.
